Cooking -

Special Project
Pat Morris has a special project that needs your expert input.  She is writing a report on Companion Planting for Oklahoma with emphasis on herbs.  She would much appreciate members insight as to what works in your garden and methods you've had success with.  Just give her a phone call (number in THS roster) with your help.

Speakers Wanted
THS often receives requests for speakers at various gatherings.  If you're interested in volunteering contact Marcia.

Anne Hathaway Garden

City Horticulturist, Maureen Turner, has asked THS members if we have favorite herbs we would like to have considered for the Anne Hathaway Herb Garden 2012.  I'll be working and walking through the garden on Tuesday morning from 8ish until 9:30am. Everyone is welcome to come by with suggestions and ideas.  My first idea is to plant different  thymes on face of the Southern rock wall. Hope to see you there.

Cheers!
JoAnn

It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presence may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

The Tulsa Herb Society was formed in 1988 by a group of herbal  enthusiasts.  The purpose of our organization is to foster the appreciation, study, culture, history, and use of herbs.  In addition, society members share their time and experience in each others gardens.  Friendships grow that become priceless.
